Boxwood Supper Club
The Boxwood Supper Club offers a fresh take on traditional tastings, providing clients with a unique and intimate experience. Our monthly event offers fantastic food, a sneak peek into their future event, and an opportunity to have fun with other Boxwood couples. With a rotating menu throughout the year, couples can try a variety of options, from buffet to plated meals. We believe in the joy and community that events like these offer, and hope to eventually extend our Supper Club to anyone seeking an incredible date night or a chance to relive their wedding meal.
At every Supper Club, you can expect to hear from our head Chef and Director of Food & Beverage, Justo Blanco. A Dallas-native, Chef Justo’s talent and curiosity have led him literally around the world, beginning with the Texas Culinary Academy in Austin, where he ranked first in his class, and then onto Executive Chef stops in places as disparate as Belgium and Laguna Beach, California. Chef Justo continued to refine his technique and flavors via time spent in Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand while attending Bai Pai Cooking school of Bangkok.
After returning to the United States and time in San Francisco, Chef Justo returned to Dallas as Chef de Cuisine of Scene Restaurant, followed by a stint at the Four Seasons running banquets and special events. More recently he has run the food programs at Bolsa Mercado alongside time spent at The Statler and Joule hotels. His incredible background led him to be the perfect fit for Boxwood’s expanded catering service.
At Supper Club, you can expect to receive a tasting plate full of appetizers that coordinate with that evening’s menu.
We also feature a house-made cocktail designed to compliment the menu, in addition to a variety of beer and wines.
Our menus feature a variety of delicious meals and we’re incredibly excited for you to experience a custom catering experience consumed with flavor, southern hospitality and attention to detail.
