Walden Retreats offers a unique and picturesque setting for couples looking to tie the knot in a beautiful outdoor environment. Our 96 acres of private riverfront property provides an ideal backdrop for an unforgettable wedding experience. Our luxury camping experiences provide comfortable accommodations for the wedding party and guests, allowing them to relax and fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.

At Walden Supper Club, our guests enjoy quarterly, seasonally themed supper clubs showcasing Walden's landscape through the lens of rotating visiting chefs. Allowing us a sneak peek at all of the beautiful events to come!

The event Lodge, designed by Austin-based Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, offers stunning views of the Pedernales River with both indoor and alfresco settings as well as on-site accommodations and 3,500 sq ft of event space. Our living wall includes over 2,000 real life plants and was designed and installed by Variance Design, a local firm in Johnson City. Plants include Anthurium, Rabbit’s Foot fern, Crocodile fern, Swiss Cheese vine, Philodenron, Spider plant, Peace lily, Hoya, and Bolivian Sunset gloxinia. Walden Retreats provides something for everyone.
